Dr. Carrigan's talk, "Cracking the Bro Code," is based on her book of the same title, and focuses on transforming the computing workplace culture to be one of respect, civility and egalitarianism.  She also emphasizes holding the Bro Code bosses — the billionaires who control high-tech corporations — accountable to values that serve democracy and justice.
